We are submerged in the sea, surrounded by an ocean of nostalgia, sadness and loneliness; by unexpressed feelings, which often float below the water on isolated and bottomless beaches. The idea for this book came from the rupture of two lonelinesses. In this book the sea is the literary background. It is the cradle of all kinds of sirens and monsters, which represent all that is fantastic, mysterious and unfathomable in our lives. Myths explain those hidden things, which we would like to be but are not, the vibrations that motivate us, and our self-discovery. Beneath the surface of the water lies an unknown world, a universe as gloomy as human existence. At the same time, though, it shelters a savage world, an odyssey. Looking at the engravings and reading the poems we are submerged in a deep ocean, which will take us to a beach. The aim of this collection is to stimulate an inner feeling, to get closer to the imaginary fairies and monsters, which are closer to us than we can imagine.
