In 1909 Barcelona is about to go up in flames. The differences in class living conditions are almost unbearable, and fuelling numerous revolutionary movements. Eulàlia, the daughter of a rich textile merchant, is unaware of these conflicts until she accompanies her father to England as his translator. One of the workers she meets reveals factory conditions. Eulàlia experiences the world’s injustice… and first love.
