December 1949. A thief Miquel Mascarell met in prison called Lenin asks for help. He stole the wallet of a dead English tourist and now he’s wanted for murder. The walled contains the catalogue of paintings the Nazis stole before and during the Second World War. The Englishman was one of the Monuments Men, the Allied organisation that tried to recover the masterpieces taken by the Nazis. Mascarell has to try and recover the catalogue, catch the real murderer and survive in this dangerous web of powerful interests.
