Edward does not find the support he expected from his family and friends and he is not happy at all. However, one day he meets a girl fighting a cancer and old Native American with whom he will share something else besides chess games at Golden Gate Park. These two will help Edward to recover his eagerness and, progressively, they will become friends and life companions.
