Elisa Bernat

She was born in Tortosa (Tarragona) in 1978. She has always loved drawing and painting, and when she was little she was already creating stories and different characters. At the age of seven she joined the School of Arts and Crafts, and she was there for quite a while. Drawing has always been a part of her life, but she worked on something completely different. In Barcelona, thanks to the courses at the Massana, Llotja and Joso schools, she discovered what she really liked, children's illustration. In 2013, she published her first children's story. Since then she has worked with several publishers. The technique she usually uses is drawing pencils and digital treatment, plus she loves applying textures.
