Antoni Batista

He is Doctor in communication sciences. Journalist, writer, musicologist. Professor at the Faculty of communication sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona.

He majored in journalism in conflict situations, in particular in the cases of Israel/Palestine, Ireland and the Basque country, has written six books on the subject, as did the research doctorate and participate regularly in seminars and conferences. Co-directed with Dr. Antoni Segura annual seminars at the University of the Basque conflict.

He has been director of analysis and Strategy of the Department of the Presidency of the Generalitat de Catalunya (2003-2006), director of communication at the Institut Ramon Llull (2006-2008) and director of communication of the Gran Teatro del Liceo (2008-2009).
