Toni Arencón
He is the author of the novel “The soul of the murderer”, which was awarded with the XXXII Ribera d’Ebre Award (Cossetània Editions, 2015). In addition, he wrote the collection of stories “The blind dancer from Sidi Bou Saïd and other tales in lyric code” (ARC, 2012) and “The oath and other oneiric tales” (ARC, 2014), and participated in more than twenty collective publications and anthologies.
He has received awards and literary references –in both fiction and poetry literary genres– such as the Ribera d’Ebre Award for “The Soul of the Murderer”, the Miquel Bosch i Jover Poetry Award for “Bygone Longed Rain”, the City of Esplugues Award, the Palafrugell Poetry Event, the Tordera Contest, the Art and Narrative lyrics Award of Premià de Dalt, the Short-Story ARC Contest, the Ferran i Puig Story Contest, the San Antoni Literary Contest or the Pepi Pagès Poetry Award.
He is a member of the Prat Tintablava Writers’ Association and the Relataires in Català Association, in which he contributes as Associate Editor for the literary journal Lo Càntich (Catalonia Blogs Award 2010 and Villa Martorell Award 2016).
