Alba Navarro

Alba Navarro Francés was born on 2 July 1997. Kalisdice was not born until the end of 2018, when she was studying a degree in Industrial Design Engineering and, motivated by recovering one of her passions, illustration, she started working on social networks. She has combined her studies, office work and, later, a master's degree in education with freelance work, as well as continuing to write and read in her spare time. He has also had time to participate in competitions, such as the Norma Editorial comic competition, in which he was a finalist in 2018 with his work "Los hijos", as well as organising solidarity projects, such as the creation of the Phoenix artbook (with the participation of more than fifty artists from all over the world) in 2019 to raise funds to help with the forest fires that happened in Australia that year.

From 2020, she decided to focus on illustration in the literary sector. Thanks to this, she has managed to unite her two passions: art and literature. She has worked as a cover designer and editorial illustrator with different authors and publishers both nationally and internationally. Some of the publishers she has worked with are Ravensburger (Germany), Lux&Nox (Canada), Babidibú or Hela Ediciones (Spain), among many others.

Recently she has also been collaborating with authors and publishers to share fanart-reviews on their social networks. "Cuando vimos la luz" is her debut as an author, which began as a series of comics of her protagonists that she published on social networks. Thanks to the reception it received, she was encouraged to bring Ruga, Leo and the rest of the characters to life in the form of words. This publication has given her (even more) desire to focus on her artistic career and continue advancing in her projects while she shares more comics and illustrations of her process on social networks.
