Sinopsis
Miquel Mascarell was the last policeman in Republican Barcelona. Having spent several years as a prisoner in the Valle de los Caídos, he has now received a pardon from his death sentence. He has returned home to a city he no longer knows, where he has nothing and nobody. His police instincts are triggered when he receives a mysterious envelope containing a photograph, money and an address. ‘Siete días de Julio’ accurately re-creates post-war Barcelona, examining what happens when humans are taken to the limits of their endurance and the nature of eternal hope.
