Narciso looks and acts differently to other children. He has a unique way of eating, which means that from a very early age his life is uneventful and without flavour, both for him and for those closest to him. “La Belleza” is allegory of the fear of the unknown, of those that are different. Through a story it tackles the magnitude of his Narciso’s exclusion. It is also an ode to language and an homage to words. When we have finished reading it we will discover where true Beauty lies.
