By a twist of fate, Iviqi and Jax, two small-time adventurers, get to the important port city of Melay, where a tournament of Jhassai, the ancient art of fighting, is to take place. Unwittingly, Iviqi and Jax will become embroiled in the intrigues of the various mysterious factions conspiring to get their hands on the tournament prize at any cost: the legendary Armor of Light, an artifact said to be able to grant its possessor the power of a god. What perhaps no one suspects is the dreadful curse that this armor carries with it, and which could mean the end of the world.
