It’s autumn and Ada, Teo and Emma are back in Irurita to celebrate the 80^th anniversary of the Amona. They visit together the Elizondo market, where  chestnut seller tells stories to the kids. To their surprise, one of the stories is about a world that can only be Gaua, and about a young witch who finds herself obliged to give her daughter to the woods so as to free her from the clutches of a terrible king, who the three cousins identify in unison as Gaueko.  

Ada has no doubts about it: the young witch has to be her mother. Is it possible that she is still alive, hiding somewhere in Gaua? And would it be possible to find her? However small that possibility may be, Ada needs to explore it. Which means crossing the portal and asking the all-knowing goddess Mari about it.
