Planet Earth, year 2520. A boy, or girl, wakes up in the Great Pool, amidst hills of lifeless bodies. He, or she, is called Barra Tre, from CSU956.072/3, where CSU stands for C(orpo) S(ostitutive) U(mano). He is hungry and, obeying the voice in his head, he walks through the Mud Desert and the Machine Graveyard until he reaches a fire. There he befriends his fellow travellers in search of the truth, of the origin of everything, of a possible better future.
