This is the story of a working class family in Catalonia at the beginning of the 20th century, the Vidal family: father, mother and four children. This is also the story of Esteve who surrenders his body, and of Ventura, the indomitable and rebellious hero who refuses to be like everyone else. “La piel de la revuelta”, which starts in 1905 and is entwined with events of Barcelona'’s Tragic Week, is a picture of a crucial period, written with great attention to detail, a lively narrative, a vigorous style and a highly charged storyline.
