Ángela Paláez

Colombian-Dutch author/illustrator born in Cartagena, Colombia, began her professional career as a graphic designer and art director in Colombia and Spain. Since 1989 she has lived in Europe, moving through several countries. Her wandering nature and raising a family of 4 children marked a turn in her career that led her to the world of children's literature. She currently lives in Barcelona. She has more than 15 titles published in Holland, Colombia, Belgium, and Curacao. The rights to her books have been sold to Korea, Vietnam, Arabia and China among others.
